Does Tramadol (Ultram) 50 mg have any fever reducing effect or can Tylenol be taken in conjunction with this? I have a horrible case of strep throat and my doctor didn't prescribe any pain medicine. So, I took 50 mg Tramadol (Ultram) that I had already to help with the throat pain. I have a fever now and need to know, does Tramadol have any fever reducing effects or should I go ahead and take some Tylenol in conjunction with it?

shamsa a replied: "If the person is an epileptic patient then it is contraindicated as it can precipitate seizures . Other effects include nausea and vomiting . No effects would be observed on cardiovacular or respiratory system unlike other opiod drugs :)"

We pay outragous medical insurance rates but cant get medicine when needed. I told my doctor it easier t get med i need on the street that form him, which is rediculous. I have severe back issues and hate the shots they want to gove me, chiro has done nothing and pain management also sucked. I had to pay a co pay 3 times a week to get treatment. I cant afford that or all that time off work when all i need is what he ha me on 10 mg percs. I cant see the problem gettn g med you need these days, yet they will give you all these pyscotropic drugs like candy, riddlin, Zoloft, ect with i think is worst for you

From your letter it sounds like maybe you have become addicted, especially since you've stated you like and are seeking the "high" and the relaxing qualities of the drug. You wouldn't be the first person to start seeking drugs on the street because you couldn't get them from the doctor any more. The graveyards are full of people like that."

I know plenty of people who are addicted to painkillers and trying to get off them seems to be horrible. If you have chrinic lower back pain and conventional medicine doesn't help you might want to consider the holistic approach or chiropractice. I have serious athritis but instead of taking celebrex every day do I only take one if it is absolutely necessary--drug companies want you to be addicted because that means more money for them--just like cigarette companies want smokers to be addicted--because that's more money for them.....I realized a long time ago what is going on with these drugs and decided that even though I pay only 3 bucks for any prescription that I was better off spending my money on natural supplements and stay healthy---so, try to get off that stuff and good luck..."

Have you ever discused a muscle relaxant with the physician? The needle is the size used on premature babies, ask to be put under it is easier. But in my experience, did me good, not bad. You should talk to Dr. too. It all depends on what you were allergic too. IE, allergic to Tylenol 3 and cough meds w/ codiene but did ok with synthetics. Can I mix tramadol 50 mg with norco 10/367 or vicodin 5/500? I am in a lot of pain right now and am unable to sleep. i am wondering if i can mix tramadol 50 mg with either norco which is 10mg hydrocodone and 367 mg acetamenophen or vicodin which is 5 mg hydrocodone and 500 mg acetamenophen. its late and I cant see a doctor right now so please dont mention that cause i already know thats why i went on here. thank you

Tramadol is a mild pain reliever, slightly stronger than Tylenol, so for severe pain it's not uncommon for it not to help. Feel free to supplement with either the Norco or the Vicodin. I'm assuming you've taken them before and know how your body reacts to them. So it's up to you which to take as the Norco is stronger."
